Cotswolds Day 2 - Worcester Cathedral & Hanbury Hall

Well - after brekkie (Full English and very nice it was too), we headed off for Worcester; the intention being to visit the Cathedral and then visit Greyfriars.

We arrived in the car park and became aware of the incredible high price for parking.  So off to the Cathedral..

It really is amazingly beautiful....

The carvings at the ends of the pews in the choir stalls were fascinating... not the best place to take good pics however.. but lovely to see

An excellent visit and so glad we went.

We decided against staying in the car park given the prices and not visit Greyfriars House.  A pity really but another time it will def get a visit.

Instead we drove off the Hanbury Hall where we had an excellent lunch of Leek Soup and a 5 out of 5 fruit scone.

Had a guided tour around some of the ground floor rooms before heading off back to the hotel.  An excellent day out again albeit the weather could have been kinder..
