Popping into Petworth House & Park

I had some shopping to do, but the sun was shining so I had a visit to Petworth.  Firstly a wander and down to the lake..

Then a tour around the house.  Some of the rooms are open under the banner of "A Country House Christmas"  There is no natural light in the rooms - this does show off the Christmas lighting well, but makes photography a bit of a challenge.  However, with a bit of post editing..

Lunch!! And another 4.5 out of 5 for the Petworth Fruit Scones... (yes I had two, but it was cheaper to buy a cream tea than buying 1 scone, jam, cream and a cuppa)... ;)

If anyone can identify the tree from the fruit  - I would be grateful to know what it is..
