My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Rye Meads... and I dipped..

Very wet morning but managed some time at Rye Meads.

The Black Terns had flown (not surprisingly)... and the green sandpipers were no where in sight.

Lots of Orange Tip about... but the strong wind didn't lend itself to any pics of them.. this being the one exception... and it was hiding.

Not sure if this is a Red Lily Beetle... except there were no lilies anywhere abouts... ??

One of a pair of Little Grebes

and at least 18 Mute swans from the Gadwall hide..

and finally the sun came out and it got wonderfully warm..

and tomorrow.. could be good :D
