Audley End.. a short visit..

So - bright and sunny all morning and then where to this afternoon?.  We wanted fresh air but decided to stay local and headed off to Audley End.  The wind was bitterly cold and the sky got darker and darker.. brrrr

We counted 14 Barnacle Geese - a good find here,  and there must have been about 200 Canada Geese, with just a coupe of Greylags present!!

It's Autumn and Halloween season..

In the bothy where the unmarried undergardeners lived....

Lots of gorgeous autumn colour..

By now the rain was unpleasant so we headed home for a welcome cuppa...
