Anglesey Abbey in glorious sunshine

We headed off for Anglesey Abbey this afternoon.. the temperature has risen a little although still frost pockets where the sun hadn't reached.. and the sun was glorious and had some warmth.....

Some of the snowdrops beginning to flower - in a few weeks there will be hundreds .. THE very best place for snowdrops...

Frank, Billie, Shoveler and Parsnip

and after a lovely walk, into the cafe for an very good scone.  Anglesey didn't produce that good a scone in the past, but they are now consistently good... very yummy!!  Thank you to the Baker..

Hi Tricia

The VERY BEST place for snowdrops is Welford Park, near Newbury.

There are millions, no kidding. Usually open for the snowdrops through February.

Cheers

Maurice
